HITECH Extension Program

CAAP is honored to announce that we have been selected to partner with Morehouse School of Medicine, which has been awarded a $19 Million dollar grant to bring education, training and I.T. support to physicians in Georgia.

Morehouse has been established as the Georgia Health Information Technology Regional Extension Center, (GA-HITREC) they have named CAAP as the local extension center, to assist physicians in the adoption of electronic health records (EHRs) in Community Health District #10, covering the following counties: Athens-Clarke, Oconee, Oglethorpe, Barrow, Greene, Walton, Morgan, Jackson, Madison and Elbert.
