CAAP was formed in 1992 to respond to Athens area employers need for lowering health care cost. Today, CAAP continues as a physian built, physician led not-for-profit.

In 2022, we now have over 1,400 members across the state of Georgia in CAAP Independent Physicians Association (IPA). CAAP Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) has X members and realize shared savings in value based contracts for past X years. Our CIN gives 100% of shared savings back to the physicians!

OUR MISSION

To unify independent physicians throughout Georgia and provide resources to help them be successful in value-based managed care contracts.

Our model is designed to help physicians keep more of their earned Shared Savings. We are not managed or owned by a third party who retains a large portion of Shared Savings.

Established in 1992, the organization was formed to respond to employer's needs for:

• Improving efficiency through better management and coordination of care.

• Broadening geographic access to physicians.

• Assuring high quality through focused, stringent credentialing processes.

CAAP is proud to offer the largest Physician-owned network participating in any managed care program in its service area. By utilizing the network, payers and employers may enjoy the advantage of a product that provides them with immediate access to health care cost savings, better management and coordination of care, and enables them to seek care from the participating physician provider of their choice.
